Last week the eruv took some storm damage. However, thanks to quick work by DTE and Comcast, some misaligned lechis were re-aligned and downed trees were removed in time for this Shabbat.
Special thanks to Larry Brown, West Bloomfield Township Trustee, for getting Comcast to quickly cut some dead tree limbs for us. We understand that Larry was instrumental in the early build-out of the eruv, and has been a liaison for the community at the Township.
Also thanks to Moshe Rabiat, a Mesivta student who is checking the eruv for us, and this week slogged through the muddy and burr infested Cromwell Woods area.
